Creativity is where curiosity and passion collide.
Creativity is not a skill, it’s a state of mind… the unconscious collaboration of eyes, ears, mind and hands, working together to better understand the surrounding world through a cycle of empathy, questioning, thinking for yourself and making new.
Creativity is a glorified word for play, it’s the same at 50 as it is at 5. The problem for many is that we stop questioning and start “learning”. We stop thinking and start “memorizing”. We stop making and start “consuming”.
Your brain is just like every muscle in your body, you have to work it every day to grow. Creativity is like cross-fit for your brain.
Most importantly, creativity is a big part of your path to finding passion and purpose. Do what you love and love why you do.
