Perseverance, Drive and Determination.  These are what you keep front and center as you set your mind on a goal.

You should never really quit anything.  If you fail you learn.  You can still push further and learn more.  Or you can take the lessons learned and apply them in a new direction.

Perseverance is the one constant.  Ideas change.  Results differ.  Lessons merge.

Perseverance = learning.
